3/8/11 - Feeding EveryChild EveryDay Update

33,220 children are now receiving hot, nutritious meals everyday in 20 countries around the globe through 28 distribution partners through Feed The Hungry.

Children are supported through the orphanage support outreach EveryChild EveryDay and it's supporting program Take Away Hunger.

1/8/11 Horn of Africa Famine Appeal

The entire Horn of Africa is suffering from the worst drought in 60 years! The punishing heat has killed crops and decimated livestock. Prices have skyrocketed on what little food is still available. More than 10 million people are suffering and children are dying.

21/3/11 - Japan Disaster Relief

A 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck 400km north of Tokyo around 2.46pm local time. More than 8000 times more destructive than the earthquake that struck Christchurch, this event also cause a large Tsunami wave up to 10m high.

Although Japan is well aware of the risks from earthquakes and tsunamis, the loss of life is expected to be heavy. Early reports list over 80,000 missing people.

Today we need your partnership to help reach out to shell-shocked survivors with God's compassion and bring comfort to many who have lost everything.

28/2/11 - Disaster Relief

We have been conducting disaster relief operations in many countries around the world. In 2011 we have been working closer to home, in Ipswich and Toowoomba in response to the QLD Flooding. In Christchurch in response to the NZ earthquake.

4/11/10 - Take Away Hunger Day - Report

On Friday 24th September Feed the Hungry, in conjunction with Sydney’s premiere Christian radio station Hope 103.2FM, held its first Take Away Hunger Day at the Church St Mall in Parramatta.

Our mission was to ask people the question

“What can you get with $6?”
